I am a lawyer practising before the Supreme Court of Greece and a member of the Athens Bar Association. I am also a Ministry of Justice-accredited mediator. I hold a law degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as an LL.M. in Consumer Credit from Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. I am also a member of the Hellenic Procedural Law Association and the Hellenic Family Law Society.
Professional experience
Since 1997, I have provided legal services in litigation and consultancy to individuals and legal entities in Greece and abroad. My areas of expertise include civil law, intellectual property, commercial law, real estate transactions and consumer law.
I have extensive experience and specialisation in family law, which requires sensitive handling to support clients in adapting to the new reality of their family relationships.
I served as legal counsel at the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Intellectual Property (A.E.P.I.) for many years and was a member of the legal department of an international banking group. I held a position of responsibility involving a wide range of subject matters. This experience has given me in-depth knowledge of banking contracts, the financial framework and banking practices. I now use this knowledge to guide individuals, consumers and businesses methodically through negotiations and claims with institutions and banks, while respecting the realism of their choices.
In parallel, my work on cases involving the protection of authors', artists' and publishers' rights has given me valuable experience in advising on and litigating intellectual and industrial property matters. This experience is an important asset when it comes to supporting family, corporate and inheritance disputes involving intellectual, commercial or other intangible assets, the implementation of which often requires specialised strategic planning and management.
Mediation
Alongside my legal practice, I have been trained and accredited by the Ministry of Justice as a mediator since 2013. Since then, I have been applying mediation in practice as an alternative dispute resolution method, serving the needs and interests of the parties involved to the best of my ability.
In 2016, I co-founded "N.P.C. DIALOGOS – Commercial and Family Mediation Company". Based in Athens, "DIALOGOS" provides a full range of mediation services in a space specifically designed for this purpose.
